Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 59 year old brother just had surgery for what my sister in law said was a twisted intestine. He lives in another state and they do not own cell phones. So on my brief conversation it seems his surgery was about an hour and that he was doing fine. Never had any surgeries before and from all I know was in perfect health. The articles I read state cancer may have caused the twisted intestine. His wife did not mention cancer. Would the doctor have known or does he know now if there is cancer? I know he had a 4 incision. What happens next?
