Is Typhoid Fever Contagious?

hi i hav twins boys of approx of four years ...my younger one got detected minor typhoid..and now whn his course of zifi 100 is almost complete the elder one is getting the same type of high fever ...he is shiving right now nd its 2 am. early mor what shud i do?

hello, I've gone through your query and I feel it could be typhoid. since they are twins they could have had the same contaminated water/food. I'd suggest you to see a doctor first thing in the morning. for now u can place a wet cloth over your kid's forehead and wrote his body with a cold sponge/west cloth. this will bring down the fever. you can also start the same course of tablets which the other twin is taking. but do not forget to visit your doctor in the morning.
