Is Using Hair Serum Containing Salicylic Acid Dangerous In Pregnancy?

Hi, Im 4 months pregnant and Ive been using a hair serum called Ingrown Zone for my pubic area where I get waxed for the past few years. Ive just read the back and it says do not use during pregnancy and now Im freaking out Ive been harming the baby? The main ingredients are glycerin, salicylic acid, witch hazel and glycolic acid. Please can you tell me if Ive been putting my baby at risk and If I should visit my doctor?

Hi.

There are risks with its use but it now depends entirely on how often you have been using. Assuming you get your hair removed once a week this should have been applied once a week, hopefully. Yes please do visit your doctor to make sure all is well.

Best wishes.
