Is Using Unscented Lotion Safe For Itching And Stinging Rash On Clitoris?
I have been experiencing an itching and stinging rash on my clitoris.(Not on the hood but under. Just above the urethra.) It just showed up at the start of my menstrual cycle. I haven t had any kind of sexual contact in over a year. I believe this is caused by dry skin or over stimulation, and I ve scheduled a doctor s appointment. Is it safe for me to use an unscented lotion to keep out the chaffing that is causing the itch and pain?
Itch and sting rash on clitoris seems in relation to dryness with or without bacterial or fungal infection. You can use unscented lotion for sure with additional guidelines as below: - Keep the area clean with antiseptic liquid or soap - Keep vagina dry - Wear loose, clean, cotton inner wears - Avoid all tight clothing, jeans - Avoid masturbation if active - Local application of aloe vera gel - Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids - Avoid prolong use of similar tampons during menses
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
