Is Vaginal Discharge And Bowel Movement Normal In Pregnancy?
i have been having an increase in vaginal discharge, sometimes its like a yellowish green but the majority of the time its like a clear watery discharge i have also been having an increase in bowl movement for the last couple of days, is this normal at 37 weeks pregnant ??
Abnormal bowel movements may occur in the later parts of pregnancy. However if they are excessive then an infection needs to be ruled out. A clear discharge is also common and is due to expulsion of the cervical mucucs plug. But if it is yellow and foul smelling then you need to see a doctor. Also if the discharge is as thin as water and is excessive [ needing to use sanitary napkins] then it may be the pregnancy waters that have broken and you need to go to the ER in that case.
