Is Vaginal Leakage Of Clear Liquid Post Radical Hysterectomy A Cause For Concern?

My cousin just had a radical hysterectomy three weeks ago for cervical cancer. 28 lymph nodes removed and no evidence of cancer spreading. Today she started leaking a clear, odorless fluid filling two pads rather quickly and going through her clothes. She called the on-call doctor who advised it is part of the healing process and if it didn t clear up to see a gynecologist. It s a Saturday and only urgent care and ER available. Is this a normal process? Reason for alarm?
