Is Vitamin Tablets Right Medication For Hearing Impairment And Murmuring Sound?
Good eve Dr,my mom is complaining of hearing impairment and she hears some murmur sounds some time ,she was advised to take vitamin tablets by a physician as they said that the nerves in the ear region are weak ,is that only taking tablets are ok or we should take scan .

Yes. she requires hearing tests and otoscopy to know the type and level of deafness. in case of established nerve deafness, vitamins barely will help and hearing aid Is the final resort. kindly go ahead for ent consultation and hearing tests.
