General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Once baby has satisfactory development and weight. Now a days, we have strategy to induce labor at a more convenient time when all the facilities are at hand. Specially at isolated area like you have. So you can wait for labor pains but you may not get needful aid to help you at labor. Hence, it is better you go with your doctor's advice.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
