Good morning. My husband and I are both sick. Sinus infections, and he has also a slight case of pneumonia. The cool mist vaporizer did nothing for me, so I tried a warm mist which worked wonders (actually, we are both able to sleep now). Is this a problem for him with that pneumonia? There are no children in the household, and the unit sits safely on the dresser.
Thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your problem and situation. Yes, you can definitely take warm mist in pneumonia patients. Warm mist is actually helpful in almost all respiratory problems like nasal blockade, sinus issues, throat pain, bronchitis and pneumonia. So no harm in giving warm steam to your husband who is suffering from pneumonia.
