Is Warm, Red, Mushy And Painful Leg Post An Accident A Cause For Concern?
I was in a motor vehicle accident April 19 they x rayed my leg nothing was broken. but my leg isn t as swollen to about the size of a grapefruit around my upper thigh. It is very warm, red and very mushy. It hurts especially when I stand it feels like a 10 lb lump drops.

I really appreciate your concern, such swelling could be due to soft tissue inflammation which is very common phenomenon in case of accident without the fracture, keep the leg in elevated position try some NSAID (Non Steroid Anti-inflammatory Drugs) and 'Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg" three times in day, hope this information helps, take care.
