Is Weakness In Legs Normal After Quitting Amiodarone Cold Turkey?

I went in for a check on my pacemaker. The test showed that I had been in A-Fib continuously since May. The attendant suggested that I ask the Doctor to stop using Amiodarone, which I had been on for 22+ years, currently taking 200 mg. a day. The doctor told me I could quit cold turkey. I did that last Wednesday and I have felt weak in my legs and my balance problem (I have P-Neuropathy in my feet a legs) is worse than before. This morning I felt washed out and found myself napping often. Could the quick shut-down of the med. be causing the problem?
