Is Weight Loss Normal After Having Polynephritis And Sepsis?
Is it normal to lose weight after having polynephritis & sepsis? I am feeling pretty good after going thru this 6 weeks ago; however, I have lost 10 lbs. since returning home from the hospital (2 days ICU + 3 add l. hospital days) & still am quite fatigued. I am a thin female, 70 yrs. old, (5 5 , 119 lbs. now) and trying to eat healthy, but also trying for a lot of calories. Every day I get on the scale hoping to start getting back to my normal weight. Just wanting to be sure there I do not have a residual/underlying medical problem stemming from the sepsis. Would appreciate all input I can get. Thank you.
