I need to know symptoms of west Nile are they sudden or can they be spread out? I have always gotten bit by Mosquitos but not this bad and they are turning into rashes and huge welps I have major headaches and cold like symptoms since they have started
In some cases, West Nile symptoms may present like a typical viral infection, with fevers, body aches, headaches, and cold-like symptoms. In severe cases, it presents pretty suddenly with meningitis or encephalitis, with severe headache, fever, confusion, lethargy, and even coma. The West Nile virus is only passed by mosquitoes and is not transmitted from human to human. If you are concerned about this possibility, or are getting generalized rashes rather than large spots related to the mosquito bites, get seen by your doctor. Hope this helps.
