Is Whipples Surgery Safe For Abdomen With Swollen Apetite Loss And Weight Gain ?

I am 65yrs old. I was suffering from jaundice a few month ago. now I am quite well ,but recently my abdomen seems to be swollen considerably. I am loosing my appetite, weight and is now a patient of jaundice.MRCP test shows dilated IHBD proximal CBD distended gall bladder and ascites while colonoscopy shows inflammed mucosa in ascending colon and caecum with areas of nodularity and a small ulcer in hepatic flexure.There is a tumor some where in the bile duct too,according to the doctors which has not been operated.doctors suggests of whipples surgery and HPE.What should be my step.

Hi. Bile duct tumors may not need such extensive surgery like Whipple's. You may need more investigations or a second opinion too.
