Hi there, It is quite possible that the Depo Provera shot is causing you to have breast milk discharge, because it is a known side effect in some people. However, if you have been on the injections before and this is a new symptom, we need to rule out other things that are stimulating your milk glands before blaming the Depo Provera. Inappropriate milk production can sometimes also be caused by a long list of other medication, problems with the pituitary gland, thyroid function, or even chronic kidney disease. It is unlikely that your doctor will order the whole range of tests to rule out everything, but you will need to be examined in detail to determine if anything else needs to be done.
