Is White Discharge In Urine A Cause For Concern?

I have white discharge in my pee for the longest it doesn t burn or anything I have been to the doctor and she did seem to take an interest.. could it be anything serious? I just went to well women exam and got an Urine analysis what questions should i be asking?

Hello,

You are suffering from white discharge from the urine. Possible causes of white particles, bits or stuff in urine is commonly UTI, it causes your urine to appear cloudy or with whitish particles. Get Urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. Other causes may be sediments, kidney stones, proteinuria, parasites, etc. Bacterial vaginosis, sexually transmitted diseases, especially chlamydia and gonorrhea, can cause the presence of white threads in urine.

Sexually transmitted diseases are acquired via direct skin contact during unprotected sex. Avoid multiple partners and always perform safe sex. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist. Get STD tests done, you will be treated accordingly. Take care of your hygiene. You can take a course of Metronidazole if you have BV. Avoid any type of sexual activity for a couple of days. Avoid multiple partners and always perform safe sex.
