Is White Or Wheatish Discharge Normal During Pregnancy?

Hello Dr I am 26 year old. I lost my baby in 2008 due to respiratory problems within 2 days of his birth. I had pre-eclampsia while I was done CS. Now after three years we tried and I am 8 weeks pregnant now. I was having white discharge from the day I tested positive for pregnancy, my dr gave me some vaginal tablets. For few days the white discharge was stopped. But today I got a wheatish color discharge. why this is happening? is it normal?

Seems you are getting some vaginal infection repeatedly. The infection recurs even after successful treatment if your sexual partner also has it. Please get him also examined and then get the treatment done for both.
Along with the treatment, please follow the following instructions:
1. Shave the genital organs clean.
2. Clip the nails short.
3. While on the treatment, boil the underwear to kill the organisms painted into them.
4.Observe sexual abstinence till completely got cured.
5. If local pessaries or ointments are not effective, you may have to take oral or injectable medicines.
6. Both the partners should get the treatment simultaneously, lest the risk of recurrence.
7. Get yourself investigated for diabetes mellitus as diabetic patients are known to:
i. Get repeated infections
ii. pre-eclampsia
iii. In pregnancy diabetes may flare up.
Please report to your obstetrician and get diagnosed and treated effectively.
