My husband has a white pasty substance accumulating around the head of his penis. I have the same around my vulva. I have recently been on an antibiotic for several weeks and thought i had a subsequent yeast infection. As it is typical for me to get them after i take an antibiotic. However now my husband is complaining of the same thing. I was unaware that yeast infections were contagious. Is it possible he contracted a yeast infection from being with me? Or is it more likely we have something more serious?
Hi, From history it seems that your husband might be having fungal infection and most probably contracted with your sex contact. Another possibility of having collection of smegma under fore skin forming pasting white substance. Both of you can go for anti-fungal treatment with cream and oral treatment. Keep local part clean, dry and airy. Ok and take care.
