Itching And Buring Sensation While Voiding, Have Urine Report. Can Any Online Doctor Help?
my wife complained of itching and buring sensation while voiding. Urine C&S revealed she had S.Heamolyticus infection. She was prescribed some antibiotic (can t recall name), 100mg t.d.s. for 7days. Her Urine report report today upon completion of her antibiotic treatment period reveals Pus cells to be 30-40, presence of epithelial cells in fair numbers and Positive Leukocyte Esterase . I am worried. Plz help!!!

Thanks for your query.
From the reports, it looks like she has a recurrent UTI. I would suggest that you repeat a urine culture test.
She will need a second course of antibiotics.
As she is getting recurrent infections, we need to do some tests to find out why this is happening like a USG.
