Itching Between Legs, In And Around Scrotum, Prescribed Zole . Sweating Profusely, Itching In Anal Area. Is It Worm Infection ?
I am 41yrs old Male from Kerala, India. I have this itching between my legs, in and around scrotum. It is there for the past several years. I remember once consulting a skin specialist about 20 years aga and he just prescribed Zole ointment. I have used that whenever necessary. Recently I am using Zole-F. There is relief as I use it and then later on (after a few days) it starts again. This is continuing for some years. Zole-F has become a permanent companion now. I am a sweating type. Here are my evaluations 1) I used to take bath twice daily, nowadays only once daily 2)There is also itching in anal area and some constipation. Is it due to some worm infection building up in intestine? I have taken some tablets from medical shops for worm treatment. Not sure how effective it was. Is there any problem in using Zole-F continuously? I am trying to keep the place dry and to take bath twice daily. But not very successful. Please advice. AAAA

Hello, Thanks for the query. you might have developed a fungal infection, It is called as tinea cruris. It is common in folds of skin like butt crack. You need treatment with oral as well as topical antifungals. Try to keep the area dry, You can also use powder to maintain dryness.
