Itching, Discomfort, Swelling In Vagina. Relief With Canesten Cream. Will V3 Vaginal Insert Cure?

hi I have a question. its been 4 days now since I started feeling discomfort in my vagina. it started itching really bad and it has been swollen very large. 2 days ago i started using canesten cream and its helping with the itching a little but as soon as it wears off the itching starts like crazy again. then I got the discharge out of my vagina and it was thick and big but no scent. im sure it is a yeast infection. I went to the pharmacy and got v3 vaginal inserts and I took one night already. I am just wondering if this would cure it.
