Itching, Had Bubble On Edge Of Iris. Consulted Optometrist. Is It From Sun Exposure?

My 15 yo daughter was seen by a optomotrist due to a bubble on the edge of her iris that actually made her iris look mis-shaped. by the time we got in to see the dr the bubble had subsided and only irritation was left but this is the third time its happened. She does not wear or need contacts. It doesnt hurt. Its a little itchy but not much. Seems to be possibly from sun exposure?

Hi, it appears to be the pterigium a grouth on the conjunctiva, spread over to the iris, some times, and causing irritation. It is to be excised by an ophthalmalogist for cure. So i advise you to consult an ophthelmologist for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
