Itching, Red Bump And Blister After Bitten By Bug. Should I Be Worried?

I think I was bitten by a mosquito or a bug of some sort on my shoulder, and it itched and then stopped itching but instead of going away it stayed a red bump which is hard not itchy or painful and looks like a clear blister or scar but upon scratching or anything on it, nothing moves changes or even penetrates it. Should I be worried? Had for 2-4 weeks now.

Hi,
The most important of the thing which should be avoided by you is to stop touching the lesion unnecessarily. you yourself is incriminating the factor of aggravation of the problem by scratching and pinching it. I can understand your concern but any how the part of scratching must be stopped at once otherwise the bite mark may get secondarily infected. You can apply a cram containing cortisone in it and can take laoratadine or cetrizine tablet. Lastly no scratching please - the area will resolve by itself.
