Itchy Areola, Bumps, Dry Skin. Have Nexplanon Birth Control, Bleeding After Childbirth. Normal?

I had my baby 5 weeks ago, during pregnancy my areola got very dark. The issue now is that my areola is very itchy. It has little bumps kind of like dry skin but they are darker than the color on my areola. I dont know what this may be. Also, I had the nexplanon birth control put on and not stopped bleeding since I gave birth could it be the nexplanon? If so, should I take it off? How long does the bleeding last usually?

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Little bumps on the nipple and areola could be Montgomery tubercle which are normal secondary changes in breast in pregnancy. Itching may be due to dryness. I hope there is no redness and erythema. Local application of olive oil or coconut oil will make the nipple and areola supple and soft and reduce to itching. It's unlikely to the medication you are on

I hope it helped

Take care
