Itchy Lump On Clitoral Hood, Tried Hydrocortisone Cream, Fungal Creams. STD Negative. How To Get Rid Of It ?
Hello, I'm 41 years old and have had an itchy, pimple like lump, on my clitoral hood for about 2 months now. I've been trying everything I can think of from Hydrocortizone cream, fungal cream, diaper rash ointment (like Desitin), to Triple antibiotic cream. Nothing seems to be working. Sometimes it doesn't bother me at all, and then sometimes it gets very itchy. My husband had an affair 3 years ago, but I was tested 5 months after for STD's and everything came out clean. What could this be, and how do I get rid of it. It's VERY annoying.... Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

This is not usual sign of STD.but it can indicate some another bacterial infection such as folliculitis, inflammed gland or irritation/allergy reaction. Also, it can be subctaneous lesion such as ateroma,lipoma or fibroma and in this case only surgical removal may be helpful. I suggest to continue with antibiotic cream in next 4 weeks and if there is no inmprovement you need to consult your doctor and plan further managment.
