Upper area around my nipples is scratchy. My daughter is 19 months old and I have been nursing her till last week. I used a lot of lanolin but it is not really helping to heal .Do I need to see a doctor
As you are currently nursing and have itchy nipples, it would be best to visit a doctor for your complaints as a presentation similar to yours can be related to conditions which can result in serious discomfort and even weaning off nursing, which would prove to be less healthy fot your child.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
