Itchy Palms, Brown Spots, Rash. Have Plantar Wart On Foot. Any Ideas?
hello, its been few days since my palm was itchy, and today i noticed that in the middle of it there is a very fade rash and if you look very closely it seems that there are some very tiny brown spots in that area... any ideas? i have been treating my plantar wart that is on my foot is it possible that it spread? but they don't feel like warts...
Now according to the description of the skin lesions that you have developed, there are two possibilities. Either you have developed contact eczema of the hands or it is a fungal infection. Now the treatment for both of these condition is different. For contact eczema, mostly a topical steroid is required along with elimination of the suspected allergen. For fungal infection, topical antifungal drugs are used by most dermatologists for its management. I would recommend that you should see a dermatologist or a general physician soon so that proper diagnosis of the skin condition can be made.
Hope it helps Dr Geetika Paul
