Itchy, Smelly Dead Skin Building Up From Butt Crack Towards Back. Red And Raw Skin After Dead Skin Comes Off In Layers. What Could This Be?
from the bottom of my butt crack and up towards my back white dead looking skin builds up itches and has a smell like it's fungus. I remove this dead skin leaving it very raw and by the next day it has started to grow back. It gets very thick and skin comes off in thick layers leaving it red and raw. What is it?I have has this issue for yrs and Have had it looked at by a Dermotolgist and I can't remember what he thought it was. Giving me a perscription for 200.00 could not afford it. Very embarassing please help....

Hi
It is called intertrigo and in your case is probably due to candidiasis.
Dry the area after bath and keep it dry on a regular basis.
You may use clotrimazole bases powder to keep it dry.
Along with it a course of antifungal cream and tablets will also be needed.
In case there is superadded bacterial infection topical antibiotic too had to be added.
