I've been dealing with muscle twitching in my toes and fingers for the past 3 months and muscle spasms throughout my body, mainly fingers and toes. Sometimes it can be painful sometimes just bothersome. It happens every single day. Started in my left big toe spread throughout my foot and then went into my right foot than hands and fingers. I am seeing a neurologist for this issue and I am getting an EMG done on June 13th in all extremities. No vitamin deficiencies , blood tests came back good on that. Normal regular blood panels and total protein serum just waiting on GM1 antibody and ANA tests to come back. My neurologist thinks this is from long term use of alprazolam or zoloft? I have been on it since I was 15 and I am now 33. I've never heard of this before. Could one of these drugs be causing this? I also do have bulged discs in my neck C-5-7 and a herniated disc in my L5-S1 and bugled in L4.
