I've Been Feeling Dizzy For About 2 Months Now. This

I've been feeling dizzy for about 2 months now. This is about the 4th episode in 10 years. The first time it lasted a couple of years and I had countless check ups etc and nothing was found. The next bouts lasted a few weeks or so, this one's been going on for 2 months and I don't know what to do. I'm reluctant to go to the GP as the whole NHS referral path I first went down took 2 years with no diagnosis! Any suggestions?
