I've Been Fighting A Cold And I'm Pretty Sure A

I've been fighting a cold and I'm pretty sure a sinus infection b/c I get them frequently and have had major pressure/sinus headaches. I've slowly started to feel better and thought I was on the mend, but 3-4 times over the last few days, the right side of my bottom lip has gone numb while/after eating. It goes away within a few minutes after I finish eating. This has never happened before, just wondering if the sinus problems could cause it or if I should make an appointment with my dr?
