Ive been given Ciprofloxacin and Metronidazole to take together ( not taken yet as tablets are too large) after having taken Erythromycin and Dio....
Ive had a tooth extraction on upper molar 8 days ago and have had to take along with antibiotics 12/14 pain killers a day to stop the pain in my sinus eye and jaw. Plus the foul taste and smell coming from my mouth and sinuses. Its horrendous which is why I'm on all these tablets but no antibiotic is working for me. They know the dentist pierced a hole which has closed I believe in my sinus but the mucus and pain that it is still causing is mind blowingly painful. Trouble is I can't take tablets and both of the new ones are both very are large and I cant taken them with milk nor crush them. Im type 1 diabetic plus am allergic to penicillin. What can I take that with get rid of the possible bacteria. Also I have just read that Ciproflaxacin is not good for tendons. I have got tennis elbow and carpel tunnel and just had a steroid injection. Will this drug effect the injection & the purpose of taking down inflammation? Ive been on antibiotics for the tooth pain now for 20 days plus pain killers since before Christmas but had the extraction 8 days ago but with this sinus issues my pain is worse now than before.
