I've had a colonoscopy this past spring that showed an internal hemorrhoid and diverticulosis. I had an ER visit two months ago for my first bout of diverticulitis that I recovered from quickly. I now have pressure in my rectal area that wakes me up at night. I'm assuming that it's my hemmoroid. I use Preparation H and have at times resorted to a hot bath. I get relief after approximately an hour of pain that sometimes lingers throughout the day in a milder manner. Should I have additional testing done?
