I've had a fever for almost five days now. I went to the emergency room last night with extreme pain in my flank area and my back. They dismissed it as a possible virus and sent me home with no medicine, not even an iv to hydrate me. I am a 20 year old female with a history of abnormal cancer and kidney failure, but they took none of this into account. I was told to come back if I wasn't feeling better today. Do I go back or try to wait it out?
