I've had high blood pressure since I was 40. Now 69 and have been on same medication for many years. I recently starting having spikes in my blood pressure at night. Very high 173/84...went to doctor they increased my amolodepine 5 mg to twice daily but hasn't helped. I'm on atenolol 100mg and Hyzaar 100/25mg once daily. Any reason for a spike all of a sudden in my blood pressure?
