I've just returned home from the hospital. I had an ovary rupture and became septic. I had blood withdrawn every 4 hours for days and IV's in my arms until there was nowhere left to poke. I now have a port on my chest. My question is my veins in both arms have hardened and hurt. Will this ever go away or at least not look so ugly and hurt so badly? Can this type of damage to be repaired? I am 45 and otherwise healthy.
