I've Recently Been Made Aware, In 3/2013, My Pre-operative CT

I've recently been made aware, In 3/2013, my pre-operative CT showed a nodule 4x2mm, A recent pre-operative surgery 9/2015, it is now 6x3mm. Can this be a sign of cancer with its growth. It was not told it was something I needed to be concerned. The CT in 2013 stated the scan was all clear with no concerns. When a comparison was done it stated it was present. It was a bad reading of the CT it was not clear. Should I see a Pulmonologist?
