Hello and welcome to HCM,
After reading to your history i suspect you are suffering from acute streptococcal pharyngitis. It is bacterial infection of the oral mucous membrane leading to inflammation , redness , pain , sore throat and difficulty in swallowing . it may also involve the peritonsillar crypts over the tonsills . as you have mentioned the formation of pus pockets is the white patchy ulcerations due to bacterial infection.
I suggest you to start with antibiotic Augmentin 625mg and analgesic aceclofenac with serratiopeptidase two times daily for 3 to 5 days unless the symptoms subside .
you can use antiseptic mouth wash like chlorhexidine or lukewarm saline water at home to do mouth gargling which will give soothing effect to the throat.
i hope this helps you , get well soon .
