Joint Pain, Dizziness, Fatigue And Sore Eyes. What Could Be The Cause?
Hi. For three weeks now I have been having body aches as though I might be getting the flu. No other symptoms of the flu existed. I powered up on vitamin C just in case. One week after that my body continued aching and my eyes hurt terribly. My right eye became red for two days. My head also started is spinning. This is the third week now. My over all symptoms are: joint pain (all over), dizziness, painful eyes, pressure on the left side of my nose and fatigue. What could possibly be wrong with me?
The symptoms can be attributed to viral infection. Management includes: 1. Analgesic, anti pyretic agent like paracetamol. 2. Antihistamine preparations for symptomatic relief 3. Antibiotics to prevent secondary bacterial infection. 4. Steam inhalation will also be helpful. 5. Avoid cold food & drinks.
If symptoms still persist, it will be better to consult an ENT specialist. Investigations like complete blood count & X ray of para nasal sinus will be helpful. Wish you good health. Take care.
