Just home from a surgery. Maxillofacial...and the surgeon neglected to do any pre-surgical check on my blood. My platelets were too low and I nearly bled to death. My concern is with the prolong effects of the amount of blood that was lost. Feeling excess fatigue, dizziness and rapid and shallow breathing. My stool is still black and tar like 1 week after surgery. Not sure if it is just normal symptoms after surgery or if other organs were affected from the excessive blood loss. The doctor does not know why I did not die due to amount of blood that was lost.
