Kid Having Blisters On Ear. Dried Discharge, Slight Hearing Loss. Whats This?
My 4 year old son has blisters inside and outside his left ear. There was dried discharge earlier and I'm not sure if it is from the inside of the ear or the blisters. He seems okay and not hurting. He did mention a few days ago that he can't hear in that ear, but we thought he was playing around, since he is his normal, playful, active self. I wonder what it can be?
it is streptococcal skin infection
is it red, swollen or tender to touch
associated with fever or not
hearing loss is due to obstruction in the pathway
take appropriate antibiotics and consult your physician
is there any history of herpes infection recently
wishing you a speedy recovery
take care

Your 4 year old son is suffering from otitis externa and interna ( Infection and Inflammation of Ear)
do not poke ear with cotton swab as microabration is common .
Consult an ENT Specialist to look inside ear canal for any pus discharge if so send Pus for Culture and Sensitivity to nearby Lab and Start on Sensitive reported drug to get speedy recovery.
Child will not say any complaint to parents or doctors .We should be aware in the childhood stage .
I Hope I Provided Useful Information. Do ask Furthur Questions to help You get well soon.
