Kid Having Chicken Pox. Smelly Stool, Gas. Advice?
Hi dear, I have a 3 years old daughter, i have noticed that her stool has recently become very, very smelly including when she lets out wind, also when she feels like going to toilet she squats down on the floor to relief herself, she seems to struggle when she goes to toilet but she does not seem constipated at all, please note that she has today come up with chicken box which she picked up from her older sister! please advice .
Hi, Thanks for posting your query. Smelly stool could be due to infection. A stool test may be done for confirmation. Since you have not posted any picture here, it is difficult to say whether she has developed chicken pox. Get examined by her doctor that the skin lesions she has got is actually chicken pox.
