Knee Injury, Fluid In Knee. Taken Naproxen For Arthritis. Have Red Spots That Are Warm To Touch
i injured my knee months ago and developed fluid in my knee which lead to my ankles and feet. was diagnosed with arthritis and given naproxen for the swelling and cephalexin 500 mg for a bite i attained that left one of my ankle red and hot. Now I have bright red spots and one large spread of a patchy spot that is warm to the touch and swollen ankles.

first of all do USG of joints which will differentiate that fluid is blood stained( due to injury) or only transudate due to inflammation. go for lab work e.g. total WBC with differential count which will help to differentiate between acute infection or chronic inflammation. worm and swollen joints is sign of inflammation which can be warm on touch

Most likely what you have is a ruptured bakers cyst even though it is more commonly seen with inflammatory arthritis/degenerative arthriits it can happen following trauma. You need to undergo a USG to diagnose it
