Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Had sudden knee pain while at work two weeks ago. Climbed the stairs and turned left and my right knee gave out. Didn t think to much about it and figured it would go away but it has gotten worse. Not constant pain but sudden sharp pains randomly while walking or moving around. Seems to be a hole on the outside of right knee under knee cap.
Knee ligament injuries are common due to twisting injury to knee.
knee pain can be due to meniscus injury ,which can be confirmed by clinical examination and if required MRI. Till time take analgesic and apply knee support.
