Labia Minora Is Swollen, Painful, Pimples. What Is The Cause?

Hi there I am going through something that has never happened to me and i am curious to find out what is going on! My right hand side of labia minora is swollen and painful when using panties and there is something that looks like 2 pimples in that area. What could have caused it? I am very clean and only have intercourse with my husband...is this a disease and how could i prevent this from ever happening again?

Hi,
It seems that you might have some bacterial infection on local area giving rise to pain and swelling.
Your local hygiene might be healthy but due to some injury during sex or rough sex might have caused bruise leading to infection.
Consult your gynaec and get examined.
With one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines you will be alright.
Ok and take care.
