Laparotomy Of Ovary, Bleeding. Normal?

Hi doctor, i just had my surgery for laparotomy last Wednesday -11 April, and was discharged on 13 April. The surgery was to remove 6.4cm tumour at my left ovary . The doctor had also removed my left ovary. I am 42 yrs old, married with 4 kids. My question, i started to have vaginal discharge-bleeding on 15 April, approx after 5 days of my surgery. It is red in colour. Is it normal?

Hello mam I would like to know the date of your last periods. Because in my opinion probably you are menstruating. But still maintain a menstrual diary and if irregularity persists get an ultrasound done. Take care.
