Large Bruise On Foot, Hurts To Put Pressure On Heal
My 10 year old daughter has a large bruise on the back of her foot and says it hurts to put pressure on her heal. She dances and plays soccer and went to both last night and said she didnt do anything to her foot in practice so I was wondering what might cause the bruise and pain to suddenly appear and if I should be concerend

These type of unnoticed injuries do occur during sports and should be reviewed by a orthopedician. Though the chances of a hairline fracture is less but should be ruled out and the treatment with plastercast and rest will be necessary if something is found out. You should be concerned though there is no issue of emergency. I wish you good luck and pray god she recovers soon.
