Large Hematoma On The Knees Following An Accident. Swollen, Warm To Touch. Should I Be Concerned About A Blood Clot?
I was involved in an auto accident on Nov 27....the knee bag deployed and I now have a large hematoma to the left of my right knee which was replaced in Sept 2007. It is still swollen and hard, and warm to the touch. I also have a hematoma on my left leg and tonight it is burning...is this cause for concern? I guess I am concerned about a blood clot. I was on medical leave since the accident. I returned to work today and found that sitting all day has caused my legs to really ache. Thank you.
HI Thank for asking to HCM The collection of blood is more likely and that is called either hematoma or clot, it will be resolved with time only thing is it must be protected from infection, the medicine has got very little role take care and have nice day.
