Large Mass In Cervical Region, Lymph Nodes In Left Pelvic Wall. Which Stage Of Cervical Cancer?
I recently did a CT scan and the below is the result, can you confirm what stage cervical cancer I have? In the cervical region there is a large mass measuring 7.4 cm, with necrotic areas in it’s interior, In the left pelvic wall there are two visible lymph nodes measuring 12 mm each. The bones appear normal. Conclusion: 1. Cervical Mass without invasion of Adjacent Structure.
Hi,
cervical cancer has got FIGO staging system. in this system still now lymph node involvement is not taken as staging information. so detail clinical examination like vaginal wall involvement, parametrial wall involvement, rectal mucosa involvement should be informed. 7.4 cm size definitely indicate a bulky disease. Consult your oncologist, after all the information, he/she can inform you about the staging.
