Last Friday I had cataract surgery on my left eye. It was necessary; the vision in that eye was very poor. But I turn out to also have a cataract in my right eye. It's a spoke one; hasn't been messing up my vision at all. (I can see almost as well with it as I can with this new, improved left eye.) I have the right-eye surgery scheduled for June 3; but am wondering if I should go through with it. What I want to know is... well, two things: (1) How quickly do spoke cataracts usually become bad enough to need to do something about? and (2) Is it perhaps not a good idea to let my eyes now get good and used to working together, with one natural lens and one artificial... and then, later on, have to do a second adjustment, they both being artificial?
